I’m 29, I was born in Moscow, Russia, but now I’m based in Segovia, Spain. I speak English, Russian and some Spanish. During work hours, I develop stuff for SidusHeroes, and in my off time, I like to either play with some new tech, make music, draw, read, or spend time outside with wifey.
I started coding at 12. It was my favorite hobby and boy was I hooked. I’ve always had great interest for the world wide web and how the sites were made, and now I was beginning to understand how to create my own. I asked my parents for some coding books and emerged myself into the world of programming. I started with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (which used to be heluva lot simpler back in the day) and soon I’d created my first interactive page.
At this point, I’ve learned to create pages that looked like the ones I’d seen on the web, but they weren’t nearly as functional. But that was about to change as I discovered <?php?> and server-side scripting.
Fast-forward to 2017, when I graduated from VGIK university with an Audio Engineering specialist degree. During my studies I’d occasionally create sites as a side gig. After graduation I worked a couple of years as an audio engineer, and never stopped coding. Developing audio tools and studio software, I shortly turned into a one-man IT department in a company where I was woking at the time. Eventually, I decided to turn my life-long passion for programming into a profession and became a full-time web developer.
To this day, 17 years after I wrote my first line of code, I’m still as excited to discover new technologies, experiment with new frameworks & languages, and apply my knowledge to build awesome things.
